The last two weeks have been beyond crazy at our house. My parents drove out here on the 23rd and as soon as they got here, my mom was ready to start destruction on house, so that whole morning we tore out walls in our family and bathroom, and the stupid fireplace that I have hated since we moved in this house. The reason we tore out the fireplace is because it had a flume that went up through my kids room and in order to have two kids in there we had to tear that out, so we really have no use for that stupid thing. We had to tear out the walls in the bathroom because we had a nice case of mold...oh the joys of being home owners. Since we were tearing out walls we decided to turn our family room into two smaller rooms. One will stay the family room and the other will be a bedroom for when we have people come and stay. So we have been working on building walls and putting up sheet rock, and there is always something about having remodeling going on that makes your house seem so out of place. So, here are some pictures of our progress and maybe someday it will get done....the only problem is Mark and I will be the ones doing it...as scary!
